Death of First/Second Unit Holder
In case of the death of the first holder, the Units may be transferred to the surviving holders. In case the surviving unit holders wish to transfer these units, the following documents would be required.
  • Letter/Request duly signed by the surviving holder(s) Download here (DOC,<200k).
  • Certified* copy of death certificate.
*Death Certificates has to be:
  • attested by a gazetted officer; or a practising Chartered Accountant or Advocate;
  • attested by the manager of a bank where the Unitholder maintains an account, specifying the manager's bank identification number; or
  • notarised by a Notary Public. (Note: A power of attorney is always to be notarised by a notary public.)
