In case of an error in the Unitholder's name
in the account statement due to an error by the unitholder,
he/she would have to submit the following documents in order
to rectify the same. In case the error occured on the part
of Franklin Templeton Investments the unitholder need not
submit any document for the same.
The documents to be submitted are:
(i) A letter from the Unitholder requesting correction
of the error. Download

(ii) Certified* copy of :
- PAN Card (in case of an individual).
- Certificate of incorporation (in case of a company)
- The entry in the Register of Firms (In case of
a partnership firm),
- Passport/Birth certificate (in case of NRIs).
*All certified copies are to be:

attested by a gazetted officer; or a
practising Chartered Accountant or Advocate;

attested by the manager of a bank where
the Unitholder maintains an account, specifying the manager's
bank identification number; or

notarised by a Notary Public. (Note:
A power of attorney is always to be notarised by a notary
public.)
Note: In case the
Power of Attorney is supplied by the Unitholder, it may
be accepted in case it is substantially in accordance with
the format provided.

Please note that all documents are to be executed
on plain paper. Wherever stated so specifically, documents
are to be executed on non-judicial stamp paper of the stated
denomination. After completion, the required document should
be submitted to any of our Investor Service Centres for resolution.
