TIIF is an open-end income fund that invests primarily in debt and
money markets with the twin objectives of optimum returns and liquidity for meeting your
medium-term needs. Franklin Templeton fixed income fund managers strive to earn steady
returns in the fixed income market by actively managing their funds portfolio on interest
rate movements and credit risks. They search through the entire gamut of available fixed
income instruments like Money Market Instruments, Government Securities, PSU bonds,
Corporate Debentures and Structured Products to optimise return on investments. The fund's
portfolio is also actively managed to benefit from interest rate movements within the
limitations of an open-end fixed income fund.
