Templeton
Monthly Income Plan is ideally suited to meet
the needs of individuals or institutions that
need regular monthly or quarterly income. The
scheme's objective is to provide regular income
to investors by investing primarily in fixed
income securities. The fund offers the convenience
of monthly dividends under the Monthly Dividend
Plan.
TMIP comes in 4 different
plans:
- Monthly Dividend Plan: TMIP (M),
- Quarterly Dividend Plan: TMIP (Q),
- Half-Yearly Dividend Plan: TMIP (H),
- Growth Plan: TMIP (G).
An open-end income fund, the TMIP's objective is
to earn regular income through investments of
about 85% in the debt and about 15% in the equity
markets. The fund's investments of 85% in debt
and money market instruments helps the steady
growth of principal with minimal risk and the
15% component in the equity market gives you
the potential to enhance your earnings from
equity investments.
