What are the benefits of investing in this
scheme?
Diversification
Currently, you can diversify your portfolio
risk only across equities, fixed income and
money market assets. By investing in Franklin
India International Fund, you can now diversify
your portfolio across currencies as well.
Stability
Global markets often perform in contrast as
different countries go through different economic
cycles. By having investments across currencies,
you can ensure steady and stable returns on
your investment.
Hedging
If you have future dollar expenses (for say,
children's education in US), you can hedge against
any future appreciation of the dollar vis-á-vis
the rupee by investing in this scheme.
